Ye have found the secret hideout of "RockPiraten" (The Rock Pirate) - and here you will find some info about what that is all about.
The Rock Pirate and his crew set up large, out-of-the-ordinary party-events in the fair city of Copenhagen - Denmark. Our speciality is the reoccuring mega pirate-party event(s), known as "Rock n' Pirate"...

The "Rock 'n' Pirate" parties are a reoccuring event, taking place at least twice a year. It is an event where ye be certain to wind up "Three sheets to the wind", amidst 500-1000 fellow Buccaneers, Free-booters and Scallywags.
These parties include anything and everything, ye might be expecting of a wild pirate party - including lots o' Rum, live pirate music, treasure hunts, dancing on the tables, cutlass fights in the dark corners & live cannon and musket firing from the man-o-war decorated stage.

RockPiraten VIII - Oct 1st, 2011 AD
...only one Pirate has, time and again, held parties on a scale that have made legend. Only one Pirate has repeatedly managed to assemble every able seaman (and woman) from near and far and
brought them all under the same roof, to party with such intensity - that the city-dwelling landlubbers have had to flee in panic.
Only one Pirate is made of equal parts of Rhum, Gunpowder, Wench-appeal and Willingness to dance and drink to his Death ...
ROCKPIRATEN – is once again hosting a party with the potential to cause a reversal of the Poles and to scramble the Navigation Stars on the night sky! A party, which is rumored to be so decadent, so laced with alcohol and so morally corrupt, that it has already been outlawed by most regional Governors... The though and tested scallywags from KRAPYL will open up the stage with songs og dance from their days as river-pirates in medieval Central Europe. Then DEAD-MEN’S-TALES and IKI will take the stage to throw a gig, which will shake old Copenhagen in its very foundation, and this time around old cutthroat classics will be mixed with new buccaneer ballads. DJ Galley Boy has escaped from the dark waters of Jutland, where evil Fishermen held him for ransom. He will be celebrating his reacquired freedom by making sure that we will have high quality Pirate music to enjoy, all night! Do however keep a respectful distance to the Stage, as the mad Gunner of RockPiraten has relocated the lost key to the power room, and intend to roll all the ship's cannons out to celebrate - and ya'll know how that is going to roar! There will be stage-events all night and as usual the best dressed Pirate and Wench can expect to win a treasure chest, full of goodies... Under the palm trees in the courtyard, you will find The Galley, where you will have the chance to fill your stomache with the Chef's Caribbean Gumbo, and wash it down with a Jug of the famous "RockPiraten - GroggTM". True to tradition, there will also be mixed entertainment and various other stalls in the courtyard. So - sign up for duty on Oct. 1st, 2011 and bring all Yer dubloons! Do not miss this event of the year - or face eternal shame and damnation! The event will be held at "The Rock", in the very center of Copenhagen. Treasure Cruise - September 19th, 2011 AD (International Talk Like a Pirate Day)
Thank you for participating on this epic voyage! Sorry for the botched Treasure hunt - won't happen again (fingers crossed). Our apologies if you were one of those, seized by the soldiers – or caught by the military police, and had to spend the night in the brig. At least, no one was hung this time around. Team III won the challenge, and if you were on that team, please state your name in the TreasureCruse event-thread on FB, so that you may be celebrated at the Oct 1st Party! Well fought, Aaaargh!!...

ROCKPIRATEN sets sail on Monday September 19th, to celebrate our international holiday - and he desperately needs a crew! The voyage will take you all over our old Capital, in search of the lost Barrel o' Grogg, and many dangers and challenges lurk along the way. Don Yer sailing outfit, bring with you 50 Pieces-of-Eight, and meet up with the rest of the crew and officers at Stormbroen, at 17:30 PM - and participate in the celebration of the "International Talk like a Pirate Day", and do your part in recovering the lost barrel of Grogg. Send a bottled message to info@rockpiraten.dk and announce your participation, and we will reserve a bunk onboard the ship for Ye. Buccaneers and Bluejackets, Corsair's and Cutthroats, Freebooters and Filibusters, Privateers and Picaroons, Raiders and Rovers, Sailors and Salty Sea Dogs - Stand at attention! Spike out the hatches, and prepare for the perfect Storm! Set a course for and ride the waves towards Rock Island! Once again, The Rock Pirate summons ye to an epic party - May 21th, 2011! A legendary celebration - feauring wine and wenches, rum and rave, song and sin !! From southern Germany, we welcome the notorious band Vroudenspil, who when not engaged in plunder on Lake Constance, are famous for their skill in delivering world class live piraty on-stage performances! True to tradition, there will be lots of other artists entertaining on stage and off stage, including (of course) "DJ RockPiraten" himself, and his trusty mate "The Galley Boy"! Best dressed male and female pirates will as usual be awarded grand prizes on stage, immidiately following the last concert. The event will be held at "The Rock", in the very center of Copenhagen. Break open the Barrels o' Rum, and roll out the guns! Sharpen the Cutlasses and sound the drums for action stations!!
To celebrate the "International Talk like a Pirate Day" the preceeding sunday, another spectacular Rock 'n Pirate party will be held on September 25th, 2010!! Once again, we welcome the die hard Pirate Rock band Dead Men's Tales who have never failed in delivering awesome concerts! True to tradition, there will be lots of other artists entertaining, including (of course) "DJ RockPiraten" himself, and his trusty mate "The Galley Boy"! Visit the "Captain's Bar" where high-end Rum based cocktails will be served, made up from the finest Rum's and raw materials. Enjoy the upgraded "canoneer's Stand" where you can test your gunnery-skills in sinking enemy ships. And do not forget to pay a visit to the "Ships Galley", where Grogg from Rockpiraten's original recipe will be served*, along with Caribbean inspired Cajun-food. RockPiraten V - May 15th, 2010 (FINISHED)
Yaaargh! The next major Rock 'n Pirate party will take place on Saturday, May 15th, 2010.
As usual, it will be held at "The Rock", in the very center of Copenhagen.
The address is: The Rock, Skindergade 45-47, 1159 København K, Denmark. This time, we are bringing in the mad Sweedish band of Baltic pirates, known as Ye Banished Privateers, so no-one can feel safe! There will be 12 kinds of rum in the Bar, Grog, Competitions & Events, and Caribbean style food can be acquired from the Ship's cook.. Best dressed male and female pirates will be awarded on stage, where after the bands, "DJ RockPiraten & The Cabin Boy" will be playing all night, after being introduced with pompt and cannon fire. International "Talk like a Pirate Day" Party - September 19th 2009 (FINISHED)
The next major Rock 'n Pirate party will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2009.
As usual, it will be held at "The Rock", in the very center of Copenhagen.
The address is: The Rock, Skindergade 45-47, 1159 København K, Denmark. This will be the fourth in the series of the spectacular "Rocn n' Pirate" parties, featuring numerous live bands, sub-events, happenings and surprises!! Once again 700 merry party-pirates will gather and throw a party of epic proportions. At the party, there will be live stage pirate music, as well as pirate/Caribbean inspired Troubadours in the yard, along with stalls with Caribbean Chicken & Grogg. There will be stalls where, amongst others, you can try out your skills sinking enemy ships using swivel guns. Best dressed male and female pirates will be awarded on stage, where after the bands, "DJ RockPiraten & The Cabin Boy" will be playing all night, after being introduced with pompt and cannon fire. Tickets will be available in Sailor and Captain (VIP) issues, the latter giving access to the Captains quaterdeck, with private table for the ticket holder and crew (up to 4), a free bottle of Rum & acessories, as well as access to the private luxery Rum-bar on the quaterdeck.. To prepare everyone for saturday's "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" party, we have invited some genuine pirates to come and entertain ye all in the best tradition of pirate humor. Learn how to actually talk and behave like a true pirate, a skill very usefull for the comming saturdays main event. Following the pirate comedians there will be an Open Mike Night, where ye all can test Yer new skills as true pirates in front of a live audience. The winner will be richly rewarded with a prize at the following Saturdays party plus the opportunity to perform on-tage in front of 500-1000 guests at the International "Talk like a Pirate Day" Party. |

RockPiraten & Crew invites you to Rum 'n Stories, Wednesday September 16th 2009, at Club Faust, Skindergade 20, Kbh K!!!
This quiet evening is meant as a slow start to the comming days wild action, culminating in the International "Talk like a Pirate Day" Party. This evening gives you the opportunity to explore the magical universe of the one and only pirate liquor o' choice - Rum! Rum has in recent years been accepted as a fine spirit, in line with fx. Whiskey - and it has been recognized that Rum has even more fine flavors and exotic tastes than most other fine spirits. The Rock-Pirate has this evening arranged for a professional Rum-bartender to come and tell about and serve Rum, and given free hands for the tender to acquire some of the finest Rum's from all over the Caribbean and the Middle and South Americas. This evening id dedicated to tasting those fine spirits, and truely learn to appreciate Rum! As enternainment, Storytellers will be lecturing the crowd about the Age of Piracy, with a specific focus on the Scandinavian countries... |
